Hotel Reservation [Form]

We have arranged discounted room rates for conference participants. For hotel reservation, please download the reservation form, and send it by e-mail after filling out the form. More details, such as the contact e-mail address, are available in the reservation form. To benefit from the discounted rates, the filled-in form should reach the hotel by September 25, 2009. Reservation received thereafter will be confirmed subject to availability at prevailing rates.

Visa Information

For general information about a visa to enter Korea, please refer to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade web page. Information on special entry arrangements for the Jeju Island can be found at the "Hi Korea" web page. It is recommended that you check with your local travel agency about more specific information on a visa to enter Korea.

Transportation

There are many flights to Jeju from Kimpo airport, which is half an hour away by bus from Incheon international airport. The Jeju airport has international direct flights from Tokyo, Shanghai, and Taipei every day and direct flights from major Chinese and Japanese cities, although not every day.

From Jeju international airport to ShineVille Resort

• A shuttle bus of ShineVille Resort regularly runs between the airport and the resort. The timetable and more information can be found here. A reservation is required to take the shuttle bus. Please note that you hotel reservation form includes the check boxes for shuttle bus reservation. If you have checked the boxes, you are already registered for shuttle buses.
• You can rent a car at the airport. Major rent car companies, such as Hertz and Avis, have branches at the airport. Directions from the airport to the resort can be found here.
• You can take a taxi at the airport. It will take about 50 minutes and the fare would be approximately 35,000 Korean Won. You can show these Korean sentences to the taxi driver for informing your destination (ShineVille Resort).

Conference Tour [More...]

There will a conference tour after the conference on October 10, 2009. The tour will be for a whole day from 8:30am to 5:00pm, starting from and ending at the conference hotel, and visit tourist spots in Jeju Island by bus. Detailed information is available here.
